Neat vibe and helpful, friendly staff! Beds are comfortable, and the room is modern and clean. The amenities offered are nice. Our room had an electric tea kettle with a variety of teas and instant coffee. A small round table with seating for 4 and a sitting area separate from the bedroom. Upon check-in, we were offered assistance with unloading our bags and setting up the pull-out sofa bed. There is a neat area that has vending machines, a foosball table, and a hangout area. Outside in the courtyard is a nice seating area with a firepit.

I won't deduct any points from my review because there are so many great things about this hotel, but just an FYI to those visiting soon... there is construction going on. The dozers started up around 6:40 A.M. Upon arrival, we were informed that the work begins around 7AM, and management is working on pushing it back a little later, but it seems they start a little earlier than that. So just to prepare you, if you like to sleep in, that might not be an option for you.

The room was a great size, very big, loved that it had a full size refrigerator and stove with oven. It had the perfect sized bathroom/ shower with bathtub. And the balcony was great. The parking was a little tight but not too bad. And i loved that the beach was literally right across the street. Perfectly nestled between 2 of my favorite maine beaches that you can easly walk from one end of old orchard beach all the way down to pine point beach. The staff was incredible. Friendly helpful and treated us with respect.

We choose this hotel thinking it was a better value than more expensive ones nearby. Then we realized that parking was not guaranteed, and was non-existent. We had to drive around a very crowded area forever and pay $100 to park overnight on the street two blocks away. We should have just gotten the more expensive hotel with more amenities included and PARKING. In addition when we wanted to go to sleep after thoroughly searching the room several times we could not figure out how to turn off the lights! My husband finally had to go down to the lobby in his pjs. The manager came right up, and had to PULL A BED AWAY FROM THE WALL BECAUSE THE SWITCH WAS HIDDEN BEHIND THE HEADBOARD. Not a little hidden. Like way down in the middle of the wall hidden! He said this has happened other times! So bizarre!

They had a sewage problem. Didn’t give us the room we needed with two beds and didn’t tell us the problem until the manger came out to speak with me twenty minutes later. It was a big problem for our son’s graduation weekend.

I booked a tower king room and was switched to an interior room without being told at check-in despite a price difference. Another party at the reception had also booked tower kings and arrived to find none left- the majority of the hotel appeared to be interior rooms without windows to the outside and I assume the hotel is overbooking its external rooms assuming people will accept the internal rooms. The reception staff switched me to a studio after I insisted on a room with an exterior window as booked which I appreciated. The studio was comfortable but an exceptionally long walk from the reception. All rooms lack the coffee makers advertised in pictures and text on booking.com.

I didn't like that the pool wasn't open all hours, there was a piece of metal stuck in the one outlet that I had to tell me kids to not touch after I seen it.
