First and foremost, the hotel is in a nice location, less than a mile from the Branson "strip". This made for a nice, quiet area, and a lot more accessible than the hotels near all the attractions. But everything was just a few minutes away by car. And even though we didn't walk anywhere from the hotel, you could get to several restaurants, attractions, and even a gas station by foot within 5 to 10 minutes. The room itself was pretty nice, if a little dated. But for the price, I had no major complaints. There's no questions that a few things could be updated, but the room was clean and everything worked as expected. Breakfast was up to par with most hotels on this level, and there was enough items to at least keep my kids happy each morning. Overall, for a budget option, I was happy with my choice.

With the hotel being older, some of the facilities looked a bit rundown. The bathtub showed noticeable wear, but it was at least clean and useable. The TV was a little small, and there were only a few outlets to plug in rechargeable devices. I brought my own power strip, but it would be nice to have a few more outlets more easily accessible. My biggest concern was the limited outdoor lighting in the parking lot. We parked in the north lot the duration of our stay, so I'm not sure if the same issue existed on the south side. There were two large lights located above the entrance in the middle of the hotel. The lights were bright, but they were the only ones provided by the hotel for the parking lot. The amount of light dropped off significantly past the 5th or 6th parking spot on either side of the central entrance. I was able to park within that range each time, but I would have been a lot more concerned if I would have needed to park towards the far sides of the lot. Additional lighting would be helpful for safety and security.

The entry was easy and dependable. The staff throughout the property were friendly and helpful. The suite was modern with floor to ceiling windows, comfortable as well. Our room overlooked the pool which we enjoyed using during our stay, also used the fitness room. We made breakfast in the suite and went to the attached restaurant which was great and convenient. The location was perfect, just off the strip, the river, restaurants, etc., we walked everywhere.

That Joseph had retired, he was always welcoming and friendly to everyone. He would accommodate us with breakfast because of our dietary needs.

Overall a negative experience! The room had a musty smell, bathroom light wasn’t working (was fixed later after I brought it to attention), the room and bathroom were humid (moisture due to no ventilation), bathroom ceiling tiles out of place and had signs of mold, room service (cleaning) did not show up during our three day stay, reception wasn’t able to provide us with fresh towels (our used ones wouldn’t dry because of the moist conditions), and the list goes on and on. Overall the hotel was not in the best condition (dirt, wet spots, smell of weed, etc.) I wouldn’t be so critical if the hotel wouldn’t have charged $210 a night (including tax). That is normally the price range for a high end accommodation and not a rundown hotel.

They told me that I would be in a shared room and to tell the guest if they come on my side to go back to their room and vise versa. I explained to her I was not comfortable with that. At first I thought I was a joke but I am a lady. I had no idea who would have access to my room on the other side. If it was a group you traveled with that’s different but a total stranger? I feel like they charged two people for double the price of a conjoined room. As I stated I was in disbelief when she said it. I asked her joined as in another person. She said yes.
