- “The beds were soooo comfortable, and they were real beds not bunk beds, the roof was very high, and the sleeping room was clean, for the showers the water was hot,and they were cleaned regularily, and the socialising room looked like a phenomenal pinterest room for me, it has a variety of beautiful collected stuff, woody furniture everywhere, and beautiful peranakan tiles and design, booklets about penang and a collection of books, and a piano, a working one. I enjoyed staying in the socialising room, to the point that I started thinking that I should buy a house similar to that and settle there, The owner was so kind and helpful, and he came regularly to clean the house, and the location of the hostel was perfect close to anything you may ever need. I just loved this house, it felt like a real warm home, not a mere hostel, and I met lots of sweet girls there, what a wonderful experience! I wish there were more only females hostels like this one in every city.”

  Pretty hotel in the heart of soho. Short walk to literally everything in lower Manhattan. Staff were kind, offered an upgrade and when I passed provided a small one anyway. Informative, generous people in a lovely building.

  Great location, very convenient. Room was cute, but very sparsely furnished. Bathroom was large, I think due to perhaps being a handicap room. But, no place to put anything, no vanity or shelves or anything.

  Customer service was really awful. I hate the virtual check in thing, and no one ever answered my texts with questions or issues. There were no hangers. I texted for some, but never got an answer. I called in the morning and the lady who answered the phone yelled at me that I was calling at 8 in the morning! My goodness, normal hotels are doing business at 8. They're checking people out, etc. She then told me she couldn't help me and I needed to talk to someone else and hung up. Who? Where? I had a bad experience with CS on a previous stay. I was hoping it was a fluke, but guess not. They need to have someone there, on property at all times. Also, their bar was closed for renovation! These 6 weeks are the season in Saratoga. If you ever are NOT going to close the bar, it's at this time! Crazy, crazy. And absolutely no toiletries in the bathroom. I stayed there under previous ownership and they had lovely things. Much more customeer care then. And it wasn't virtual check in then. They need to get rid of that.
