The Social Hub Delft
- “Staying at 'The Social Hub' was the best choice ever!! Situated right in front of the central station of Delft and the bus station. So the location is excellent!!!. Downtown Delft is only a 10 minute walk. Here you can find excellent shopping, supermarkets, cinema and theatre. Also lots of small restaurants!!. The Hub itself is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are clean and they're very safe. We must honestly say that a regular room for 2 persons is a bit small, but we upgraded to a larger room with a kitchenette. We could easily fit a one person bed next to the double bed, and it was perfect for the 3 of us. (3 adults) This to dutch standards. The lobby is a nice place to sit, listen to very good music, meet people, and have a small snack or a drink. They also have a restaurant where you can sit and have a nice meal. There is a laundromat, small gym, rooms to have meetings, and also a space for games and social activities. What we liked and appreciated the most of "The Social Hub" is its personnel. My husband got ill in the middle of the night, and it was no problem to help us find a doctor. The ambulance personnel had easy access to our room. The day after, they paid meaningful attention to us, which we appreciated very much. We would like to give our thanks and appreciation to all working at 'The Social Hub' Delft. A very special thanks to Ms. Darla, for making us feel so special and at home. Excellent and very special treatment. We made some new friends there for sure!! Thank you very much!!”

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable.   This is probably the worst booking that I have ever had on Booking.com... and Ive been on here since 2010. The first day I was there was ok- it was a Friday. Decent enough to get the codes and everything and get it. But this place is not in a great neighborhood- location. The building across the street is abandoned- and the street is not all that great. I would definitely not have been comfortable leaving my car on the street- especially considering the number of break ins in St Louis. Thats why I selected this place- I though they had secure/gated parking... turns out it was not secure at all.

  The Saturday afternoon that I was there- I was about to leave the buidling at 5 pm. When I got down to the lobby it was overrrun with people. When I exited the front there there were at least 70-80 people at the pool. This is supposed to be a controlled building with no univited guest. These people had taken over the pool, the building and the parking lot. When I got to the parking lot- they had taken up every open spot and were just randomly parked all over the lot- blocking the exit and entry. I left with my car- and returned at about 11 pm. When I came back- they had finally shut down the pool party- but these kids had still taken over the parking lots. Cars parked everywhere.... 30-40 people just hanging out in the lots. At the point- I did not feel safe leaving my car there- so I collected my things and left. My reservation was till Monday- I texted the host when I checked out. Never did receive and kind of refund. Horrible experience... horrible host.... horrible service.

  I travel often and stay in lots of places; this may be my favorite place i have ever stayed. It had it all. Clean. Comfortable. Esthetically cute. Climate controled. Had laundry. Great and ready to cook in. Close to the park entrance. I truly did not want to leave.

  Cabin was quite nice with amenities. I liked the spiral staircase to rooftop sitting area with view.

I checked out at 8:00 am, then at 3:05 pm later that day received a friendly reminder text stating checkout was at 11:00 am and that i should respond out if checked out. That is poor communication and not acceptable for a property of Ridgelines caliber.

  Pictures vs. reality is very different. Unfortunately the inside of the apartment is not as nice and it has many faults (toilet seat was to small for the toilet) and needs more touches to make it nicer. Unfortunately the place was dirty in many places. Side tables were dirty and sticky from juice. Showers was not cleaned, tv pilot was dirty and sticky. Room for improvement there. You can hear everything coming from other neighboring rooms.
