- “What's not to love about this location. Located on a small island so only accessible by small taxi boat (included in stay) but wow, what a beautiful location! It was everything I expected and more! Deiverson was incredibly helpful including on the day we checked out, we asked if we could use the common areas and free kayaks/paddle boards even though we had checked out of our room and they allowed us to do so. We were gone all day, enjoying the mangroves and small islands in the area. An abundance of wildlife can be seen as you paddle around the different areas, including sea turtles, toucans and so many other birds, stingrays, crabs and much more! Incredible stay overall and only regret was staying for only 1 night (it was meant to be a pit stop to cut our drive time shorter from Rio to Sao Paulo).”

  We use to stay here all the time but this time and last seemed that the housekeeping slacked a lot and things started to go missing in our room as well

  Came back from a long day at the zoo to a warm room that was not cleaned at all and when talking to the front desk about it they stated my do not disturb sign was up it wasn’t I made sure of it wasn’t plus if that was left out it would of still been on the door when we got back it was in the room not out then they tell us they only clean every other room when requested HEALTH HAZARD ⚠️ 🤢 so they basically stating we are not telling the truth yet seemed someone came in moved things around in our room and for some reason the temp was at 78. We never touched that so staying here make sure you take pictures a lot of them before you leave and when you arrive because they won’t fix it all I’m honestly really surprised with Marriott it’s like they don’t care anymore horrible horrible things were stolen in our room was never cleaned and they called us liars which is funny considering when we got back the do not disturb sign was on the inside of the room bugs showed up stains on the sheets just gross I would not stay here again

  The location was good. The staff was very friendly. It had a decent breakfast for your normal hotel breakfast.

  I had stayed there before in the other building. It was newer remodeled. We stayed in the main building this time could use some remodeling. Beds clean and comfortable, wallpaper peeling off the walls carpet could be cleaned. Wore my shoes the whole time in our room.

  Our AC was making terrible noises all night, very loud. We couldn’t sleep because something was wrong with it. It was too late to change rooms but that room should not have been rented. Since my last visit to Hampton Inn, the pillows are not the same which was incredibly sad! They were world class pillows now it’s just average.
