  The proximity to the entrance to the west side of Yellowstone was literally walkable. It was very close. The town was a bit kitschy. While there was a top-notch photography/camera store, the remainder of the town was pretty ordinary. There were too many “t-shirt” stores - with a ton of unneeded junk. A couple of top stores were the photography store as well as a rock and mineral store. The rest were just junk. Compared to Jackson Hole, this was a 3rd rate town. We did find a wonderful brisket restaurant that was fantastic. It was also walkable to an IMAX theater (which we did take advantage of)

  The rooms were very ordinary - nothing special. There was a pool and jacuzzi which was great after a day of hiking. The breakfast was enough to get by - but not anything memorable.

  Amazing location for a true escape. Beautiful views, lots of nature, peaceful and mind clearing. Paul was a great host and could not have been more accommodating. We could have sat on the balcony and looked at the views forever.

  The location was great and the flooring and bathrooms were tastefully updated.

  The rooms were dirty. My first room was not even swept and there was something spilled on the floor. I had to ask for another room. We only had 2 towels in our room for three people and one of those towels had gross stains on it. The property manager was nasty and belligerent when we asked for another towel. He insisted the maid had already put 3 towels in the room. We left early and took a loss. Terrible experience. I have never written a bad review before on Booking. This motel should not even be an option on this site. It’s that bad. Please look at the reviews on Google for this motel. I wish I had done so before I booked. It would have saved me a lot of money and trouble.
