- “We had a great time here. Perfect location, close to the ‘center’ (2-3 min) but far enough to stay out of the chaos. The villa has a beautiful design, it’s clean, well maintained, just like in the photos, and the garden is huge and lush, offering complete privacy. There were some constructions nearby but we couldn’t really hear or see it once inside of the gate. You can’t go anywhere in Bali without being within 100m of a construction anyway. Oh and we could even see the ocean from the sunset terrace. The host was super helpful, everything went smoothly. Looking forward to coming back next year!”

  East Austin is a Jem simple fresh cute little hotel in the city. I will definitely be returning. There was a big loud pool party when I arrived but mellowed out after 6. Loved the vibe here and beds were very comfortable, towels and robes 10/10.

  Very clean, staff was very communicative, comfortable beds and linens. Safety measures in place with key card access to enter after hours and they are needed to access the elevator. Excellent location! Close to everything on the waterfront.

  Offering room service of some type. Breakfast options in room. For a $380+ a night room I would have appreciated the option to eat breakfast in my room. Parking is a real challenge especially when checking in and out or during busy times. Staff does offer to help with luggage though.

  There was a vacancy at the last minute and the staff were very nice.

  The room was not clean. We are Airbnb hosts and understand how that can happen at times. Maybe this was not a typical situation. However, we found hair in the bathroom, in the shower, and toilet area. It was not a major issue for us, but worth noting. We also felt the rooms were paper-thin for noise.
