I tried on 4 occasions , 2 through Booking.com and 2 through Red Lion directly, to request a early check in if possible. I received no answer from either attempt and could not reach a live person directly through Red Lion. No exhaust fan in bathroom, windows with no blinds that gave no privacy from outside, a dog barking across the hall, light switch that first do anything, a light that doesn't work, shelf in shower installed on an angle so could put anything on it or it slides right off, the toilet paper was so far behind you I took it off the holder because it was to difficult to reach, and the room was small and had a weird layout.

Bed sheets were damp, only gave us 2 towels with 4 guests, only gave 2 complimentary breakfast for 4 people, man that checked me in said my card was declined so I spent 30 minutes with my family in the car trying to figure out how to pay for the hotel then he says sorry it’s not declined after all. Tried calling front desk and phone in room did not work. Lastly, water in shower kept going from hot to cold several times within a 15 minute shower.

The pool didn't have any loungers to lay out in the sun like the pictures showed. The pool area was a mess with garbage and glass alcohol bottles scattered all over. The pool is so close to the highway and so very loud. Some outdoor music or a. water feature would be nice to drown out the noises of cars racing by and beeping. We booked the room for 4 people but they only gave us two towels. When I called to ask for some additional towels they never answered the phone. Later we went down and the line was too long to wait in. Later I asked the front desk for towels and she said the cleaning people will bring them to me. They never came. So we asked again later at the desk. This time the gentleman went in a back door and came back with extra towels for us.

The lady who was working the front desk obviously doesn't like her job. She was rude and unhelpful. Rented a smoking room and there was no ashtray. When inquiring about an ashtray we were told to just use one of the plastic cups. Asked for a cup and was told they didn't have any. Basically everywhere around it is closed down, run down or both and I was nervous someone was going to run off with my car in the middle of the night. Poor lighting in the parking lot. The only thing that this place was missing was some long term residents arguing out front.
