The Shady Creekside Cabin is one of the best places we have ever stayed! The setting is beautiful! The cabin is clean and very comfortable! We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch in the quiet evening. Very nice pool and patio! There's even horseshoes and corn hole to play! Dale and Linda are amazing hosts! Very helpful and friendly - just lovely people! We realized while visiting Sequoia/Kings Canyon that unless you are staying in the parks, you will have a bit of a drive. This place is a bit out of the way, but we can't tell you how worth the drive it is! Just perfect!

Cute little apartment where everything was ok and all the amenities found. Nice person who messaged well and offered also help. Own driveway was excellent!. Water pressure could have been better, I found it hard to wash my hair. Drinking water dispenser with also a hot water was exceptional!

This property is named Bayview Resort when it's clearly a motel and should be named Bayview Motel. Unfortunately, the property operates as a cheap motel while trying to charge resort prices. We paid $650 (including taxes & fees) for a Tuesday/ Wednesday in July. Pretty expensive for two weekdays, so we expected much better. Brian, the front desk manager, is incredibly nice and helpful, but he's rarely present at the front desk. Most of our stay, there was no one at the front desk except for a sign to "call or text the front desk manager". At check in, you are informed that the electric will activate once the room key is inserted to "save electricity". We open the door to our room and it's blazing hot, like 95 degrees. We had to insert the room key to activate the AC unit then wait 20 minutes for the room to cool down. Shouldn't management keep rooms at 65-70 degrees during peak season, especially when they have reservations showing up that day. The breakfast was pretty cheap and non existent, like you would find at a budget motel along the side of a highway. They offer parking passes to local beaches, which was a great perk. This place really could be a great experience, but it's just poorly managed. Whatever money the property owners save in being frugal is exactly why guests are left unsatisfied and unlikely to return as repeat customers.

There was a Towel hanging on the Bathroom door From Previous Occupants. Toilet seat was really loose, No Grab bars in shower area. No where on the website did it say that all the amenities were separate from the room we stayed in, had to go to main building for any supplies needed (ex. toilet paper)

There were no clean towels for the pool. I did not get my free happy hour beverage or anything. My room was not a balcony room like I paid for and requested. The breakfast really was not that good and they were packing it up even before 10 am. It was loud. The beds were uncomfortable with tiny pillows. The front desk lady was rude. Hot elevators.
