Travel Gurus sharing their best tips

How does it work?

  • 1

    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

  • 2

    Followed by a trip

    Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.

  • And finally, a review

    And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Cool vibe reminiscent of motels along rte 66 in the 60s. Attractive property. Running waterfall and the little lounge area are nice touch. Room was clean and nice.

My room smelled mildewy, couldn’t get the tv to work and the bed didn’t have much support.

Minimal hot water. AC broken 36 hours before offered different (and smaller) room. Buffet low average and not worth the price ($23). One elevator broken 48 hours and other elevator very slow. Pool great, “gym” horrible. Hidden parking fees of $12 night. Decor woulda been nice in 1982 now it’s ancient. All but one of the staff were great and ended up helping us, but it took a solid two days just to get a few things straight, finally thought things were good enough and then woken up at six am on a Sunday by a constantly barking dog from the room across hall. All of which would have been tolerable if the room was $100 less per night, or if they had comped aid a night, but nine of that occurred. In short, nice staff, large open areas, good pool, all else bad and it just wasn’t close to what we paid. They never even offered to provide any discount or etc after we were forced into a smaller room than we paid for. Don’t stay there unless you want to be stressed out.

The parking! always had to be on the lookout for a spot. Also there weren't enough cups or cutlery , especially if you say it's for up to 8 guests . Hot water always ran out. TV didn't work, and no instructions. Wifi was ok .

This property has not been updated in 40 years. The wall paper was peeling. The kitchen provisions were pathetic. There were no drinking glasses! We were not able to access the hot tub. There was no grill as described. The smell of water damage was overwhelming as you entered the property. Terribly disappointed.

The location was nice. It was close to everything but, kind of secluded as well. I liked that there were activities on the property so, there were options of still having things to do without having to travel offsite. Many of the activities were free and the ones with a fee were easily affordable. The room was really pleasant and I appreciated the screened balcony. The soap, shampoo and lotion that was provided smelled really good. I travel with my own but after smelling the body wash that was in the shower, I decided to use it instead.

Our room was situated near the elevators so, during the night we would hear the sounds of the elevator ringing and sometimes guest would be in the “hallway” and they could be heard inside of our room. The A/C was rather loud when it came on. I also wasn’t aware that my staying at this property allowed me to be in a position to be signed up for a time share presentation. The presentation was nice as was all of the representatives and incentives but, I was caught off guard.
