- “I loved my stay at Castelo dos Tucanos. The views are honestly insane – you can see Christ the Redeemer right from the pool and terrace. The place feels like a jungle castle, with tucans, monkeys, and birds hanging out in the garden, which made it feel magical. The staff were super friendly and made me feel so welcome, and I met so many amazing people there. The breakfast was really good with lots of options, and I loved chilling by the pool after exploring Rio. The location in Santa Teresa is perfect too – close to cute cafes and street art, and it feels like the real Rio. Overall, it wasn’t just a place to sleep, it felt like an experience I’ll never forget too.”

  Nothing. Place is dirty, staff not helpful. Paid for 5th floor room with Oceanview and the lock was broken and couldn't get someone to fix it. Moved us to the 1st floor, poolside no view, no privacy. Trust me, don't stay there. Then i told them i would leaving at 5 a.m. they said no problem, well i had to wait until 7a.m. no one was at the desk. It was the worse experience, and I never complain about stuff.

  Who I checked in with 7/9 last night after 3 was nice then the same person the next night was not nice said 24 7 coffee and tea but then said I couldn't be in lobby or where the tea or coffee was unless I was physically pouring it. I had to go to my room because she was mopping. I thought I could be in lobby and or where u get coffee anytime im confused

  Room was clean and Beds were comfortable, within walking distance to the beach, Quiet, staff answered any questions we had, toaster wasnt working so I messaged and they brought one within a few hours.

  No TV in bedroom (we went to Walmart and bought a small one), no vending or ice machines, no dish detergent in room, and room was smaller than expected by pics. The elevator could use an update, very slow and noisy.
