  The location is excellent. The room was well-appointed, large and comfortable. The free breakfast greatly exceeded our expectations. This is a primary spot for staying in Taos. I'll definitely go back.

  The room keys were tricky. They might want to consider putting a more modern lock/key system on their exterior and interior doors. The front desk was frequently unattended, so I had to search a couple times for assistance with questions.

  Staff seemed very uncaring, when asking a question answered short and never made eye contact. Out of 5 ice machines on the property none was working, was told to get ice at the station down the block. If allergic to the smell of weed, stay in your room. Not child friendly at all.

  Mattresses were sunken into the shape of a body like they had to be 10+ years old. Spoke with other friends from our soccer team and they had the same feedback. Pull out couch mattress could barely be called that because it was so thin. You could feel the bar in your back.

  First room i got was stink like mold, wet carpeting and particles of paper on the floor. I asked for a better room and I got a bathroom that wasn't cleaned from the tenant before(soap bar in the shower) mud on the floor and so dusty everywhere. The bed was clean. No coffee at breakfast, only cold cereal and toast. Dirty lobby, stairs and halls. Never again!

  multiple levels requiring stairs or the ramp to get to room. had to get new key EVERY Single time we tried to enter our room. the building was very dingy, clean enough, but worn out rugs etc.
