The place feels like a jungle castle, with tucans, monkeys, and birds hanging out in the garden, which made it feel magical. The staff were super friendly and made me feel so welcome, and I met so many amazing people there. The breakfast was really good with lots of options, and I loved chilling by the pool after exploring Rio. The location in Santa Teresa is perfect too – close to cute cafes and street art, and it feels like the real Rio. Overall, it wasn’t just a place to sleep, it felt like an experience I’ll never forget too.”

  I liked that the property had the indoor pool with slides for the little kids and an outdoor section with sun for the older kids. I also liked how there was a tiny convenience store & Starbucks on property. I liked how the elevators were locked in a lobby with access by room key. The breakfast buffet was good & the women helping in there were fantastic, welcoming & very cheery with the kids.

  The room we had didn’t seem like the carpets were vacuumed. The blankets had stains & melted something on them. The fridge was not working so my husband had to fix it. The chairs & couch in our room felt dirty. The bathroom layout was terrible with the door almost touching the toilet.

  The apartment is nicely decorated and supplied. Our host viny was always responsive and helpful. The building is hard to get out of on foot—long hallways, confusing floor plans.Upstairs neighbors were noisy some nights late (bumps, thumps) but its fine. Overall, a lovely stay.

  The staff was very kind and they went out of their way to be helpful. We appreciated their kindness and helpfulness. The grounds were very spacious and we liked that they were very pet and kid friendly. The rental cottages and Airstreams looked very nice!

  We were victims of a 'bait and switch'. I reserved a Glamping 'TENT' with Queen bed, TV, microwave, fridge, lights, and a fan. We were given a small 'Jute' with a double bed and 2 nightstands. No lights, no fridge, no TV or even a radio, no way to prepare food. Since we did not know we would be basically 'Camping' and not 'Glamping', we did not have ANY supplies with us - no ice chest, no lanterns or flashlights, no tablet or laptop, and no blankets -- it was to be 45 degrees that night! Next time, we will call the resort directly and NOT book through a 3rd party.

  Location was horrible. It said Oceanside, but all we saw was a parking lot and a wooden fence from our windows. Layout was terrible. Saw the bathroom upon entering room. No sink in bathroom. Had to use kitchenette sink to brush teeth, etc. Could hear neighbors talking in other rooms. No bedside table and no electrical outlets near bed to make use of C-Pap. Parking was very tight.
