Park Plaza County Hall London, hotel in London

Located on London's South Bank, this modern and family-friendly hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the River Thames and London Eye.

The room size and amenities exceeded our expectations as did the staff who were exceptionally efficient and cordial. The hotel location could not be better as it was near all the major attractions which we easily walked to. Also, our room had floor to ceiling windows with a wonderful view of the area. Really happy with this hotel, and I am very critical when writing reviews. I highly recommend this hotel.

I went to see a concert at Indigo in the O2.

I went to see a concert at Indigo in the O2. The O2 was awesome and it was so easy to get around on the underground. The Ibis hotel I stayed at was in just the right place for my trip. If I went again, I might stay an extra day to have a look around the area. The was only one negative, the toilets at Euston Station were appalling, just horrible, so use the loo on the train instead or find somewhere else to go! But for my two days there, this was the one and only negative, The hotel was great, the staff at the O2 were helpful too and the Indigo music venue itself was very good.

Visited a number of times over 15 years. There is lots to do but it is now VERY EXPENSIVE! All UK is expensive. Donut 6 pounds from a pop up at Kings Cross. Take away fish and chips 15 pounds at common tourist spots kiosks. 10 pounds or more elsewhere. London Underground day pass minimum 9 pounds on Oyster card. Classic tourist teddy bear 20 pounds at Westminster Bridge kiosk. 2 pounds cheaper in Harrods!! Tower of London Teddy 18 pounds with CIIIR added!! Gregg’s is good and reasonably priced. Horizon 22 is free and better than London Eye. Lots of free museums etc.

There's plenty to see and do, make use of the underground it gets you everywhere efficiently, but there's a lot of walking and steps, particularly in the stations. If you want to visit an attraction book in advance. Recommend Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London but there's more we wanted to do, however the sites are VERY expensive, we found great value pub, The Wellington on the Strand, near the theatres. Gets busy but the food and service are great. Avoid over priced tour buses unless you have three hours to spare, there's so much traffic it is almost quicker to walk.

The Montcalm Brewery Hotel was extremely nice and in a central London location. Ramona and the rest of the hotel staff were courteous and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! The room was cozy, spacious bathroom, really great smelling bathing products. The attached higher end feeling Restaurant Pub ‘The Jagged Hare’ was an added bonus after a long day trotting around London. Adding the full English breakfast was great and very convenient before leaving for Heathrow. Would def stay again as well as give 10+ stars!

The hotel was in a good location, about a 10 minute walk to the tube, access to taxis and an easy walk to London CBD. The whole apartment building was beautifully maintained and elegant but our individual apartment needed a few repairs and was not of the same standard. Issues were dealt with by the office as quickly as possible. The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable but if you are using the lounge room as a bedroom there is limited room.

The apartment was exactly as in the pictures, spotlessly clean, new, well equipped and incredibly central located. The staff was always super nice and professional, smiling and welcoming. 24h reception service is a very appreciated extra, considering the "only apartments set" of the hotel. Of course, it is not cheap, but it has not to be, in order to provide this high service standard. TLS definetely became my londoner residence for the next trips.

The room was always clean and so was the bathroom. The lounge area was small yet amazing. The hotel has certain touches you do not find in other hotels. It feels homey. The hotel is well located, being about halfway between Heathrow airport and the West End. We stayed here for two nights when we arrived in England then went elsewhere for several weeks then returned for a longer stay. We also stayed here last year. It is very close to the train station and has very helpful pleasant staff members. If/when we're next in London we'll certainly consider staying here again.

Loved the theme of the decor in the hotel and our room. everything was in good shape and functioning well. we had seen some old reviews about the rooms being hot, but the room had air con and the window opened for a good breeze so the room was a great temp. Good location to things we planned to do. The hotel had an elevator which many in London/England do not. overall would definitely stay here again.

I just needed an economical overnight hotel convenient to Heathrow airport and central London for an unexpected overnight trip in London and this did the trick. The hotel is about a 5 - 10 min walk to Paddington station. I booked a single room, it was a bit more cramped than I expected, but for one night, it was just fine.
