  The cabin is a perfect family getaway nestled in the woods above Lake Arrowhead. Our kids loved the game room with an air hockey table and bird watching from the top patio. We loved how close to the village it is and the two large patios with forest views. Our host responded quickly to questions and left a thoughtful welcome book and snacks for us. The kitchen is lovely and well stocked with tools and pots and pans and several eateries minutes away in the village. We would love to stay here again!

  We loved our stay, so these are just mild suggestions: the stairs are steep and if you have mobility challenges they may be difficult. There are plenty of railings for the stairs and also a full bath and bedroom on the entry floor, too. Ask for advice and photos on parking on your way in. The private drive is tricky to park in from one direction but comfortably fit our minivan and it was so nice to be off the main street.

  There’s not one thing I could say about this visit, property, room, amenities that wouldn’t be absolutely complementary of the staff and the great service we received.

  The only thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t free coffee in the lobby, but I understand. It’s offered in the rooms and it’s for sale in the dining room so I get it. Don’t like it, but I get it.

  The staff was very helpful and nice. It was a short distance to where we were holding our family reunion.

  The elevator kept breaking down. I was told it broke down 8 times on the day we arrived. I had 2 people who were handicapped with me with walkers. They got off the elevator and it broke down. They were afraid to use the elevator from then on. Myself and the rest of us used the steps. Out of the 3 rooms I booked I requested one handicapped. It was on the 3rd floor.

  Room was supposed to have coffee maker and hair dryer, bu there were none. Texted the manager (there is no one on site), she was apologetic and said the cleaning man would bring them when he arrived. We never saw him and never got a coffee maker or hair dryer.
