      The cabin is a perfect family getaway nestled in the woods above Lake Arrowhead. Our kids loved the game room with an air hockey table and bird watching from the top patio. We loved how close to the village it is and the two large patios with forest views. Our host responded quickly to questions and left a thoughtful welcome book and snacks for us. The kitchen is lovely and well stocked with tools and pots and pans and several eateries minutes away in the village. We would love to stay here again!

      We loved our stay, so these are just mild suggestions: the stairs are steep and if you have mobility challenges they may be difficult. There are plenty of railings for the stairs and also a full bath and bedroom on the entry floor, too. Ask for advice and photos on parking on your way in. The private drive is tricky to park in from one direction but comfortably fit our minivan and it was so nice to be off the main street.

      I normally stay here just to get away i stay here probably 10 times out the year never again will I stay here after this stay they have roaches which is know, tubs never work right, and breakfast is a joke two cereals waffles and bagels thats all your options coffee and water only drinks no juice have to asked for milk and burn marks on everything even if you get a non smoking room burn marks on tubs covers sheets black curly hairs stuck in there towels normally bring my own but today she kept my deposit cause my two years olds sippy cup leaked juice on the bed kept whole deposit to have to wash sheets never will they get my money again they have lost this business

      We will never stay in Pecos, TX again. Very small town with few dining options and nothing to do. We were on a long road trip across TX. If we do it again, we will go further to the Midland/Odessa area.
