The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

I did not get a response from customer service staff even after calling 5 times after my stay. There is a huge charge on my bill and I have no idea what this is

Not enough parking space on the outside and the garage should have where you can come straight down on your room floor

Terrible bad , no trash collection, I was told they don't have outside trash containers because of animals. The whole sourh east has animals. Property is very dated. Old furniture. Indoor lights are poor. To get there it's 3 miles of curves from Blowing rock NC.

The breakfast bar FINALLY added a Kelloggs dispenser. Thank you for adding raisin bran! It's also one of the only hotels in the area that doesn't seem to have an issue with bedbugs/filth/etc., so the value of the price paid is good.

I use the Chateau as my primary "home away from home" in my role as a fraternity advisor @ Illinois State. Something that's almost always been an issue is the bathroom sinks in the rooms I've stayed in. Invariably the drain stopper is either not functioning or hasn't been screwed into place, leaving me to shave using occasional sprays of water vs. having a semi-full sink. Upgrading the exterior is important (I saw pallets of what appeared to be bricks by the driveway this past weekend), but there needs to be something done about the breakfast area to make it more ADA-compliant.
