Communication was excellent. The check-in process was well-explained, including a helpful video. Customer service responded very promptly to our inquiries and resolved them. The concierge was helpful and even took some group photos for us. The location was very good for our purposes. The kitchen was adequately stocked with dishes and glassware. The bedrooms are of good size with lots of closet space. Two full bathrooms were appreciated. Pillows were plentiful and in good shape. We liked the views over the South End.

The apartment was not prepared for 6 adult guests. We had very clearly specified that we would have 6 adults. Yet we were initially provided only 1 set of keys and only 4 sets of towels. A second set of keys and additional towels were provided at our request. They initially suggested leaving keys the lockbox but that wouldn't have worked for our group with differing schedules and so many uses for the keys (including being required for the gym, lock the apt door when leaving and entering the building after 8pm). The apartment itself has good-sized bedrooms but a small communal living room. The furnishings are very cheap and uncomfortable with some in poor repair. The chairs for the dining table are metal and multiple guests found them very uncomfortable. The couch was uncomfortable to sit on and there were divits under the fabric in the arms where the foam had collapsed due to use. The beds are soft. While some people will find them comfortable, two members of our party found them too soft, resulting in back pain in the mornings. My husband also wished he'd brought tools to tighten various knobs and fixtures throughout. The decorating was lackluster, with a single small canvas print in each room - one of which had dents. One closet door in the largest bedroom was so squeaky that we couldn't use it. There were no dressers, drawers, or shelves to unpack small items. So, despite being there for a week and hanging what I could up in the ample closet space, I needed partially to "live out of my suitcase". Providing some drawers or shelving in the closets would be a very nice addition! The apartment was generally clean, but there was some lack of attention to detail - some corners of the bathroom for example were grimy and there was dried cheese in one of the frig drawers and dried food on the frig controllers. We could also have used a large coffee pot and ice trays.
