  Extremely friendly staff. Everyone greets you and will take your dirty dishes away in the dining area with a smile. Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms. The beds feel like you are sleeping on a cloud! Excellent location, I was within walking distance to so much! Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Their "kickback" was a pleasant surprise, I appreciated the free food and drinks every evening. The restaurant downstairs provides more options that are reasonably priced...or just walk to one of the plethora of restaurants nearby. Tip for PARKING: Valet here is $39 a night...save yourself a few bucks and park in the public parking garage directly BEHIND the hotel for $25! You're welcome!

  I do not recommend ordering drinks from the bar downstairs...they are very watered down for $11-$12 a drink. I have no other complaints!

  This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay near LAX. We did not have a car so don’t know about parking fees, but the LAX shuttle was timely upon arrival and departure. Breakfast was good for that type of set-up. Reception was helpful with suggestions and storing our luggage while we lunched and waited hours to go to the airport. We walked to the In-N-Out about a mile away and enjoyed its adjacent park to watch plane land nearby.

  The ‘day use fee’ (around $85) was excessive for us to stay an extra 2 hours, so we just stored our luggage instead with the front desk.

  I love the location. On Canal Street, but away from all the big crowd. It was nice and peaceful.

  The only thing that I didn't like was the elevator. It was only room for 3 to 4 people on the elevator. And it was always full, especially during the evening hours. We had to take the stairs every evening and we were on the 6th floor!

  Our room 707: the sink did not drain, the light switches in the bathroom and the hallway did not work properly, the phone did not work and the room towels were over worn as if they hadn’t t been changed in years. More room lighting would have been nice and the bedside tables were placed incorrectly so as to not have easy access to the plug and play amenities (the right table was on the left side, the left was on the right side).
