The staff found out my birthday during check in ( photocopy passport required at check in). They even kindly allowed us to borrow a couple of towels to go to waterfalls after check out while keeping our suitcases. It is much appreciated for our nice stay!!!”

  Location was a little out of the way off the main road so made it more pleasant and quieter. Everyone was polite and friendly (it has been years since I experienced a hotel stay where all staff encountered were polite and/or friendly). My room was clean. The hotel was quiet. The room above me made a lot of noise for a few hours (mostly just running across the room constantly) but even they stopped by a reasonable hour. Based on how quiet the night had been, I expected the hotel to be empty the next morning but the parking lot was full. I was impressed with the sound-proofing of the rooms as well as the quality of guests that must have stayed there overnight. (I have stayed in multiple lesser hotels in Staunton - drug paraphernalia,.strong odors of smoke of multiple varieties etc.). Breakfast was simple and quiet and staff were working diligently to keep if stocked + tables clean. At this price point, I was extremely happy with my stay.

  We were only there a shirt time. It's an older building but the staff have kept it very clean. The beds and pillows were amazing, and breakfast was delicious. There were cinnamon rolls, egg white omelets, juice, cereal, oatmeal, and much more. Everyone was kind, and again, the staff was great all around!

  It has an awesome view and easy access to the beach. It's centrally located in town. It's also nice to have a separate, nice sized bedroom.

  The coffee pot wasn't clean. It had dried coffee in the bottom of it. The deck needed cleaning. There was a pile of bird droppings in the corner of it. The metal shelf in the freezer has rust on it. The edge of the counter has a chip on the corner of it. In the bottom of the tub, it apparently had a couple cracks or scratches, so they dabbed some white paint on them. The place needs better maintenance.
