The room was overall clean, amenities were plenty, breakfast was great. Location is 'Best'... state park and all the available food around the area were in minutes walking distance. Staff was friendly. Plenty of parking. Atmosphere inside was calm and welcoming. Plenty of lamps and natural light in room. Fast cheking in and out.

A supervisor yelled yet her housekeeping employee in front of me pretty rudely.. she was wrong and eneded up apologizing her. The supervisor should understand that guest doesn't have to experience internal issues. One employee in breakfast room was pretty rude and pushed me a little to get to his area. He was rude to most guests. Bathroom faucet would leak and keep the top wet at times. Had to keep towels around it. Drawer was sticky and dirty. I could use only one after wiping it down. Private parking included but it was not disclosed that there is a charge per night. Front desk staff may need to create a better smile or greeting culture in lobby for checked in guest and not have blank look. Besides these minor things the stay was great and may come back again.

All went well, but a bit more info on places to eat, with menus available would have been nice. The staff was extremely pleasant & friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. Although we did not have time to go to the beach, it was only a few blocks from the hotel.

The service and the place was great for the price! There is a bathroom, TV and fridge in the room, so just what we needed. The goodie bag is always a nice touch, we really appreciated it.

LONG WAIT UPON ARRIVAL: Upon arrival, I stood out in the cold for 20 min without hearing from the property. I ended up staying across the street in the lobby of another hotel, then I finally got a response. After another 10 minute after being notified that they were "coming down", they finally arrived. The property manager was very kind and greeted me with attentiveneess. CASH ONLY: The problem begins here. Inside the apartment, I was told that they'd return to process my payment (CASH or ZELLE ONLY) which I was felt was super sketchy. FILTHY BATHROOM & NO TOILET PAPER FOR 2 HRS: During the time I was waiting, I went to go use the restroom and found that it was FILTHY. Curly hair all over the sink, plastic wrapping/trash from I don't know what, & long hair in the corners of the bathroom/tub. Further, there was no toilet paper in the dispenser. I looked around for tissue or even paper towels, but nothing. When the guy finally came down after another 20 min, I asked about the toilet paper and he graciously said he'd return with some. But after 2 hrs, during which I called 3 times to figure out what was going on as I really had to use the restroom, he finally returned. Apparently they were not stocked with it so the poor guy had to drive around everywhere store to store looking for it. He was setup for failure. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & SHADY BEHAVIOR: Naturally, I was upset and told the guy that the owner will hear about it. After the night, I left the apartment around 8am to attend my event at Yale. I noticed an email upon leaving from the owner saying that they are "granting" me late checkout (intitially @ 10am) until 1pm. After I complained that a late checkout does nothing for me since I already left, I requested a partial refund, but no response thereafter. Then, booking.com reached out saying I never checked in. NOW I WAS MAD. They told booking.com that I never arrived so that I can't leave a bad review.
