It is a nice, clean, and budget-friendly B&B in the heart of Columbia Heights. Needed a place to stay for one night and got exactly what I wanted.

A couple in the room besides was having too much of a good time and the walls are not that thick. Still, that can happen almost anywhere, especially at this price range.

Very nice facility and breakfast was very good.

Didn’t clean rooms except every two days which would have been fine except they didn’t even empty trash or give us enough towels or toilet paper, so it was a lot of trips to the front desk.

The hotel listed looked NOTHING like the photos online. I stayed there ONE night and was afraid I would get "something" from that hotel. The room was filthy, the toilet clogged and would not flush, the 1st floor room had broken drywall dust on the window sill, raccoons DURING THE DAY in the garbage outside the room, not to mention the live in tenants for hotel sit directly in front of the window to smoke so no privacy. The TV was broken, there were no towels, only hand towels and wash cloths. The carpet by the door was missing, the bathroom floor was dirty with hair, crumbs and debris. The sink and light switch to bathroom had dirt all over it. The lobby, all the furniture in photos was no longer there... along with the food, most was still frozen and freezer burn for breakfast. The 1st floor smelled like wet carpet, with fans blowing on it. This was the absolute WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. This hotel should be shut down, condemned. I originally thought it was shut down and homeless people were running this hotel. I would rather have slept on a park bench than stay one more second in that place. If I had been able to get a room elsewhere the first night, I would have left right after I walked in. It went from bad to worse the longer I stayed.

When I arrived, there was a post it checking for clean rooms. Then when I was assigned my room, I was assigned a dirty room. The next room I got the kitchen lights didn’t work the hair dryer didn’t work. The room smelt like smoke and overall the facilities were dirty and run down for the location it’s in. Definitely one and done stay
