Quality bedding. View of neighboring exterior elevator. Shower fluids. 8 quality hangars. Very hot water- not something I take for granted on the big island. Not a large room, but the design is OK. B friendly staff.

Television interface not intuitive. Room smelled of cleaning fluids. The sign says to hang up the towels to reuse, but there’s nowhere to hang them to dry, so I hung one by the sink and one in the closet. This is a converted school and the windows are not soundproof. Sunday night to Monday morning I was woken at 4:30 and 5:30 AM by garbage truck down the alley. Monday night no noise at all. I had told the hotel that I was there for surgery. I needed a good night sleep, which is why I wanted a quiet room. They could’ve mentioned that it’s not possible. The first morning I asked them if there was another room, they could move me to that wouldn’t have loud noise, and they said there wasn’t. Offgassing from construction materials; assume it’s the wall board and carpet which is the worst. I checked the third floor once and it didn’t smell as bad as the fifth. If you are not, chemical, sensitive, or you like glade plug-ins, you probably will think it’s fine.

Very strict policies, many linens (towels) seemed to be dirty upon arrival, there is a $25 fee for extra clean towels.. which in my opinion should be the responsibility of the owner/renter.

Not clean. Room smelled musky. The ac unit was extremely dirty and had not been cleaned in some time. One of the elevators did not work. The room was not refreshed after the 1 night stay. Only a few interactions with staff.

There was a big spider in the shower the next morning. It needs painting and a GOOD cleaning in the corners! It was 78 a night! My sister's bed squeaked and our lamp plug-in did not work (we both wear cpaps) that was replaced. It says at front desk no refunds. Cheaper furnishings
