    - “We had a wonderful stay at Stefanos' place - Jo and all of the staff were so welcoming! We discovered that the restaurant is not like a typical hotel afterthought, it's a beautiful stand-alone taverna with lots of delicious options for lunch and/or dinner until late in the evening, along with breakfast the next morning. There is a stunning sea view from both inside the restaurant and outside, on the multi-level patio (the rooms are behind it, further up the hill). Speaking of the hill, it is a rather steep one! We discovered that after we picked up our rental car near the airport then drove the half hour to check out the place for lunch on the way to Kalami - we had to turn off the air conditioning for our little Peugeot 208 to make it up the driveway. :-)”

The owners, Roland and Ina, do everything personally. Guests are welcomed with a bottle of wine the first night. Every morning, they set out a full breakfast including coffee, fruit, cheese, yogurt, eggs, and breads. Guests can use the frig and kitchen as needed. There are a lot of restaurants and beaches close by. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and, of course, the pool and outdoor grounds are clothing-optional.”

      They didn’t have the room ready when I got there and I had to wait with my mom and aunts who are all over 70 years of age. Also, the tv didn’t work once w finally got access to the room but the balcony was beautiful. After moving rooms because of the broken tv, we were given a room with NO balcony. I asked for a refund difference and they couldn’t assist. They didn’t offer us any consolations at all. So we left and found another hotel room.

      It was in the perfect location, about 8 minutes walk to Times Square and plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The beds were comfortable and the temp was great in the room. The men helping with luggage were exceptionally helpful in getting our bags in and on the elevator. Nice views from our room that I loved looking out.

      It was hard to get coffee for our room and at first we didn’t even have a coffee pot, a cleaning lady got it from another room as the front desk never brought it up. Seems like that’s pretty standard for a room especially at this price point and the website says there is a coffee pot in all rooms.

      The breakfast was excellent. The staff was truly friendly and very hard working. The location is perfection and parking is a breeeze. The pools are a big plus--inside and out!

      Housekeeping did a wonderful job and Betty was so amazing--she seems to be in charge of everything! I just felt like they needed additional staff especially since it isn't even Memorial Day yet!! The bannister on the 3rd floor balcony was a little wobbly. But we really were very happy!!!

      I liked the location. I like the closet space

      The bathroom floor looked like it has not been mopped in very long time. The accommodations for that crazy price was not worth it. They should be charge almost half of what they are. I have stayed in upscale accommodations that were 100$ less than they charge per night.
