The property was well maintained …. When I walked in I can smell cleaning products … decor is overly.. beds are soft … rooms are up to date .. one of the best hotels I seen in OC other ones are rinky dink … Aloft/Tru/Cambria may be the best ones down there .. ooohhh… the staff was lovely … great hospitality.. the pool area is lovely feel like u on a lil small island… nothing bad to say at all … my air didn’t get real cold but other than that I’d still give it a “high” rating..

The set up of the room was nice - the amount of space was perfect.

The room was not clean and there were no cleaning products available like a vacuum or broom. There were not enough towels so we had to do the laundry. The worst part was that the room smell was very moldy and stale. We had a small child so that was concerning. I did message the front desk with no response. Also the shower water was odd. It took forever to get hot water and then when you did it would instantly be scalding water - which burned the top of my feet and my daughters as well. I would not trust it to bath a small child.

Not able to enter room until the stroke of 4pm check-in time, even though I had booked three rooms and only needed access to any one of them (to drop bags for an airport run). Incompetent front desk clerk who was very slow and could only do one thing at a time, with multiple guests stacked up to check-in. Then she accused us of having attitude when my wife simply asked to retrieve her stored bags from behind the counter. "Don't put that on me," she said. Well miss, whatever it is you sensed from the CUSTOMER, it belongs on you to either de-escalate with competence and kindness, or ignore like any PROFESSIONAL in this business must do. You are not suited for this job and give this hotel a poor face.

Very dark entrance hard to find the coffee maker. Nice, but they need to clean a little better. No water or ice in the room. Limited venue but good food. Street noise was very loud even though I was on floor 14. Motor cycles at night.

No restaurant. Nice location on the water, but the beach access is nonexistent during high tide. During low tide the only access is down a removable narrow metal stair ladder that ends onto boulders of rocks you need to climb over to access to enter the water at low tide. The patio area is cement with about 15 beach lounge chairs no umbrellas.
