The front desk staff was amazing. She was always friendly and very helpful. She worked in the evenings and some mornings we were there. The grounds were nice with lots of places to sit and hang out. They had shade, trees, and activities for kids (roasting Smores, volleyball, giant chess set). They had free coffee in the lobby. The food at the restaraunt on the property was good. We stayed in the motel section and our room had 2 comfy beds with a bar area with fridge and microwave. AC, fridge, and hot water all ran well.

Our motel room was muggy and humid with a smell of deodorizer covering up. It was hard to get past that. We put the bathroom fan on, ran the AC, and cracked the window to try to help air out the room. We didn't want to leave our bags or clothing on the carpet as it didn't seem clean, as if the humid smell was settled in it. There was no closet, just the ability to hang a few clothes in the bathroom. I would stay here again and look into the cabins to see if they were a little updated and cleaner feeling. The staff at the restaurant seemed stressed and didn't apologize or acknowledge when we had a to-go order and had to go check on it due to waiting so long. It was sitting at the food counter ready. They then forgot an item and when we went back to get it, still no apology or acknowledgement of that what so ever by the person that took our order. The next day we ate at the restaurant and had a different staff/server who barely engaged, smiled, or checked in on us. They again seemed stressed and overwhelmed.

THE ART! all over!!! Quaint stand alone adobe style apartments. Great full-on breakfasts with specialty drinks. Taos ice cream! Friendly staff! Nice outdoor cafe area.

There are not any seating in the lobby, there is no where to sit unless you are gambling. Fees for parking, internet etc are like extortion. Vegas is not anything like anyone remembers, deals are non existent, fees hidden everywhere, from the moment you arrive every business is a vampire, I do not recommend anyone even go to Vegas in the first place, go somewhere where the businesses will value your dollars.

The room was not as clean as it could have been. There was some else’s hair on the sink and the floor in the bathroom had not been swept. There is a light bulb behind the dresser that goes in the lamp we could not reach it to screw it in. None of the light were plugged in when we checked it; not a bad thing just wired. The bed was clean and made so that was nice. We had to have our cards reactivated each night we came back because they would somehow end up deactivated.
