The host was extremely kind and understanding and even gave us a partial refund when one of the amenities was not functioning. The house was very clean and nicely decorated with lots of room and board games for entertainment.

The parking is sparse on a full night - people were parked in the front of the hotel on the sidewalk/near the entry. Would not have been a great situation if I was by myself. Thankfully I was traveling with my husband and he parked the car. The parking lot is well lit, but divided and there are a lot of bushes that block line of sight. The staff could have been a bit more friendly. The room was still good and met our needs.

Unfortunately, this hotel was a letdown and seemed overpriced for what it offered. Leveraging its prime location in Five Points, it feels like the pricing does not match the quality. My room had a non-functioning air conditioner, for which they provided a mere box fan as a solution. Upon entry, the TV in the living room was visibly damaged and tilted. Additionally, while the hotel advertises free WiFi, the connection on our floor was non-existent, further compounded by poor cellular reception at times. The cleanliness was also questionable, highlighted by an old chicken wing we found behind the bed lamp. Beyond the room, the hotel's infrastructure, including the malfunctioning elevators, clearly needs attention. The staff, while friendly, seem to be battling ongoing issues that remain unresolved. It’s disappointing that the hotel doesn’t communicate these issues upfront, making the experience feel misleading and akin to a 2-star motel rather than a reputable hotel.

The 1st assigned room had a broken security lock so I asked to be moved to another room. The security lock in the 2nd room was so loosely screwed to the door I was able to tighten the screws with my fingers. I wouldn't take a shower because the bottom of the shower curtain was wet from the leaking shower faucet that couldn't be turned off and the bathroom wall title grout was covered in dark mildew and disgusting. It dripped, splashed and puddled on the floor next to the tub/toilet I had to place the bath mat and a towel on the floor to soak it up when I checked in. Instead of fixing the broken vanity light over the sink, mgnt placed a floor lamp in the outcove where the sink was located. The shadowing created by a lamp shade made it impossible to easily use the only mirror in the room. The bed cover was pulled back and the sheets were clearly not folded after they were washed. They were totally wrinkled which made me wonder if the sheets were in fact freshly laundered. There are no words to describe how horrible the bed pillows were. They need to be replaced. The best part of my stay was the comfortable mattress. The breakfast choices were dry cereal, packs of oatmeal, white bread, waffle batter, orange juice, tea and coffee. It was very minimal /basic and nothing to rave about.
