  Check-in was very easy and swift. The staff was very friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you would need. I would definitely stay here again. My only and small complaint would be that the bar was a little slow with service, but that is minor.

  Great hotel! Really pretty and very comfortable. The location was excellent and the service was outstanding. We've stayed at several 5 star hotels (in Austin and in other cities) and the service at ZaZa was the best we've experienced.

  We had a little trouble with the thermostat and the tv. Totally not anything major and no reason to bring it up during our stay. We managed just fine.

  There was no hot water in the master bathroom as well as the drain in the tub was clogged. We had to wait for the handyman to come and unclog the drain, but he couldn’t fix the hot water situation. This was unacceptable and very disappointing.

  If you book this hotel be prepared to have your money tied up for weeks to a month or longer. I booked through Booking.com. I used my cash app card to HOLD the reservation. The hotel kept trying to take the money off my card even though I was suppose to pay at the hotel. I finally unlocked my card the night before my stay. They took the money off my card, ok cool. We get to the hotel the next day to check it and the lady tells me I have to pay with a different card bc they don’t except cash app as a form of payment! I’m confused at this point!!! I explained that I booked with my cash app card and the money was taken off. She said that it was just a hold. I showed her where the money was removed. She still insisted that I had to pay with another card and that my money would be returned to my cash app card. It’s almost 3 weeks later and I still haven’t received my money. It’s been pending since the night before our stay.

  The bathroom floor and shower floor was so dirty that I didn’t shower. Not to mention the dead roach in the light fixture.Also I wasn’t informed that the rooms were only cleaned every 3days so I ended up dumping my own trash. My daughter was diagnosed with colon cancer and I was in town for her surgery. It was not a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, that was my last stay at Red Roof Inn.
