- “The beds were soooo comfortable, and they were real beds not bunk beds, the roof was very high, and the sleeping room was clean, for the showers the water was hot,and they were cleaned regularily, and the socialising room looked like a phenomenal pinterest room for me, it has a variety of beautiful collected stuff, woody furniture everywhere, and beautiful peranakan tiles and design, booklets about penang and a collection of books, and a piano, a working one. I enjoyed staying in the socialising room, to the point that I started thinking that I should buy a house similar to that and settle there, The owner was so kind and helpful, and he came regularly to clean the house, and the location of the hostel was perfect close to anything you may ever need. I just loved this house, it felt like a real warm home, not a mere hostel, and I met lots of sweet girls there, what a wonderful experience! I wish there were more only females hostels like this one in every city.”

  During my short stay, front desk shined, they were very helpful, especially a woman named Onamica, she was extremely helpful when I needed help in a pinch. Location itself made it very easy to get to where I needed to be as well.

  Window in the room looked out on to what was fake grass and some fencing that was used to attempt to hide what I believed to be significant electrical equipment that there to service the floor directly below. Space outside of the window was also more of a dead-end space, which made the room very dark, felt like a cave, plus the bed was very uncomfortable, and all of the pillows were dead flat. Would've tried to change rooms but I got in later than I anticipated, plus it was just a one night stay, I've had to deal with worse, so I simply stacked the pillows and made the best of it.

  Room was large and beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good and the wait staff attentive.

  Waikīkī beach is very crowded and we weren’t able to get beach chairs. The beach is across the street from the property. The pool at the hotel was very small. Also, the wait for the elevators was long.

  Beds were comfortable and I liked the coffee maker and refrigerator in room. All staff were friendly.

  Bathroom vent was really dirty and the whole room had a very damp feeling despite the air being on. The outlet behind the bedside table had what looked like black mold on it. Im not an environmental exposure expert, but it appeared to be mold.

  The woman at the front desk was unnecessarily hostile and everything she told us was misleading. The receipt said Jolly checked us in. She told us the wrong room number, and floor and told us to look at the keys when we asked for clarification. She told us the wrong time for breakfast and in the morning so we missed it completely! When we came down at 9am the next morning looking for breakfast we passed behind the front desk and she barked out "Excuse me!" We had to go to Cracker Barrel across the street that made us late for check-out when I called to ask for an extended check-out the phone rang forever and when she finally answered she said, "You can have 15 minutes." This person should not be working in customer service. The room was adequate except the fridge had a crack in the corner and the carpet outside on floor 5 was stained.
