- “This gem is right in the heart of Megalochori at the base of the church. It was so charming and beautiful. This spot is a destination location for other travelers visiting Santorini, but it's not overly crowded...you're just walking out into a photoshoot. There's a cafe across from the smaller bedroom that plays the most beautiful live music nightly (ends at 11pm due to the noise ordinance for the city), it just made this place better. Oh and when I was getting ready in the morning I heard horses, opened the window to see horseback riders right outside, this happened every day, must be on a horse tour route. And only super small cars can come down the street here larger ones won't fit down the streets so not a heavy traffic area at all.”

  Room was clean and comfortable. The room had a microwave and a refrigerator and everything I needed. Staff was friendly, except for breakfast attendant on first two days. The front desk staff and housekeeping were great and the front desk was able to provide me with a toothbrush. Parking was ample. Location was convenient.

  Breakfast was terrible. It was not restocked. Every day they were out of several items. The first day they were out of bacon, biscuits, whipped cream, yogurt and waffle mix which with the exception of bacon and whipped cream did not get restocked. We had to ask for those. There was one tea bag, one oatmeal packet and one blueberry muffin. On the second day they were out of bacon, biscuits, blueberry muffins, strawberries and whipped cream. The biscuits were not restocked. The breakfast attendant was hiding in the back room, not checking anything. On the third say, the attendant was checking everything but they were out of tea and strawberries.

  The location is great, and having activities every day of the week is a great idea too. They have curtains on the beds, which gives a lot of privacy

  When I arrived at the front desk, they didn’t explain anything to me or give me any directions about where the room, bathroom, kitchen, or water station were. I didn’t like that attitude — it felt like a ‘figure it out yourself’ kind of situation

  The room was not very clean. The bathroom was still wet and had some hair on the floor. TV was not working and had a weird smell. We booked a family room, and it was not ready when we checked in. They cleaned it in about 30 minutes. Due to my family being tired and exhausted, we just wanted to rest and didn't even bother calling the front office, which I regretted later and should have asked to be moved to a better room.

  Convenient, comfortable, clean, decent price, friendly staff. I thought the bed was very comfortable!!!!

  It seemed as though the breakfast staff was short-staffed? There were several items missing at breakfast (hard boiled eggs and a few other items were gone), but it wasn't late in the morning. Had to wait for more coffee to be brewed. Eggs were cold. Food smashed on the floor. The staff who were present were certainly busy, there just didn't seem to be enough of them.
