- “Staying on this particular canal on a houseboat was perfect. There was a lot of boat traffic and friendly people passing by while we had food and drinks on the small outdoor balcony. The location is a block or so from a Metro stop and a grocery store is around the corner. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There were three of us- my husband, me and our college-aged daughter- we had ample room and it’s a lovely interior. We will stay there again.”

  The breakfast was pretty good. The beds were comfortable. Check-in was easy, however, no early check-in.

  The whole hotel was HOT! Our room was so hot and stuffy that we had to go purchase a fan just to make it bearable. The air conditioner was on high, but just didn't seem to be able to cool. We also had to put a vent clip in to get rid of the musty smell.

  This was our first time staying at a Clarion Inn and it will be our last. In our room, there was a sunken mattress that caved in even more when trying to sleep; it was the worst night of sleep ever at a hotel. When we told the front desk staff, she just replied, "Okay, thanks..." rather than apologize and offer some type of acknowledgment of how unacceptable that is. The mattress should've been thrown out years ago. There was a literal hole in the wall in the room. It's obvious that the hotel is on the older side (which isn't necessarily bad), but the upkeep of it is lacking. I wish we would've paid the extra $50 or so to stay at a different hotel in the area.

  The motel was not what it really said on the motel app. $75 dollar deposit was a little much. And $40 dollars a day for my little (house broken) chihuahua to me is a bit much. Plus when I booked the room( for 4 days) i needed a handicap room as i am a disabled vet.plus my wife is handicap.

  Too much traffic in and out of the rooms. Upstairs above us stomped around most of the 1st and 2nd night we were there. The continental breakfast of coffee and bananas was alittle cheap.
