  Overall, I was really happy with the place. The room was big, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was adequate, and the hot tub was a nice way to end the day. Things were mostly good with the room. Had everything we needed for our stay. The hotel had enough parking. It was within walking distance to the beach. Took us about 10 minutes to get down there. The hot tub worked great and was nice to have after a long day.

  My only complaints with the room were the pillows and the false advertisement of the spa tub. I thought the pillows were really small and lacking in comfort. Thankfully, I brought my own pillow. lol. But had I not, I would have been miserable. They are just really cheap, square pillows, that don't have any support or much comfort at all. They are fluffy, but too fluffy. On Booking,com the room was advertised with a spa tub, which I was excited about. Alas, there was no spa tub. That might have been booking.com's mistake. I assume that some rooms must have a spa tub. Just not the one we were in. The pool was freezing cold. Too cold. There's no way anyone wants to swim in water that cold. The PNW ocean is cold enough, so it wouldn't hurt if they turned up the heat in the pool. Lastly, the breakfast was disappointing. All that was there was oatmeal, bagels w/ cream cheese, and those bavarian pastries you see at a lot of hotels. There was very few options. Mostly just carbs and sugar. Some kind of protein and fruit would have been really appreciated. Thankfully, I also brought my own fruit.

  I love Cambria's quiet but safe atmosphere and friendly staff. The property's location requires some walk to nearby T stations. However, the walking route to Harvard Sq station is safe and enjoyable.
