  The location couldn’t have been better, and the lobby/common area was beautiful. The rooms themselves were a bit outdated. Our mini fridge didn’t work, the beds were VERY firm and the pillows were VERY thin with no additional in a closet. It was also mentioned that there were to be robes, which there were not. I called a few times prior to arrival due to some unexpected delays during travel and the staff was less than welcoming via phone and I was hung up on once. Not sure if they weren’t on site or not, but the person who answered stated they were “at the front desk”. Overall, it could have been better for the price and reputation but you really cannot beat the location.

  Convenient location. Walkable to shops/restaurants in downtown, the ferries/marina area, as well as local attractions like mini golf or dinner train. Room was clean/comfortable. Indoor & outdoor pools were available. Shower & tub.

  2nd floor is only accessible by stairs. I felt like every time we were coming or going (especially at night) their were people hanging out in the parking lot smoking pot/listening to music. They didn't exactly bother us, but it felt inconsiderate to other guests.

  When we got to the hotel to check in, there wasn’t a front desk clerk at the front desk. We waited at least five minutes before someone showed up. The A/C didn’t cool the room significantly. The A/C completely shut off several times on its own in the middle of the night. And I’m not referring to the auto cycle mode. It’s would just randomly stop working. The was wasn’t cleaned very well. And lastly, don’t get excited about the breakfast, it’s less than mediocre. Won’t ever stay at this hotel again.

  Very friendly, helpful staff. Tasty breakfast made fresh for you. Comfortable clean room. A little bit better amenities than I was expecting for the price. Some of the decor in the room is a little dated(which actually, I liked the look of), but it all seemed well maintained and clean. The whole hotel has a lake life look to the decor and it is super cute! I liked that there was an actual tub with the shower. When I left, the concierge specifically asked if there were any problems that needed addressing. The rest of the guests were a good lot too. It was overall a nice basic stay hotel with a friendly, caring atmosphere.
