destination reviews from real travelers

How does it work?

  • 1

    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

  • 2

    Followed by a trip

    Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.

  • And finally, a review

    And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

    - “It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The place is peaceful, beautifully located in the desert, and perfect for disconnecting and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, but I want to give a special thanks to Chef Omran and Yaniss – they truly made our stay exceptional. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made a big difference. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and memorable desert escape.”

  • Great Southern Hotel Sydney

    - “The location was GREAT! Very easy access to public transportation., and you are only a couple of stops from Circular Quay, where Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbor Bridge are located. • Nunu Bali Eco Friendly Retreat

    - “I loved the entire resort, it provided the space and vibe to reset, focus on whatever I needed (solitude and and a chance to reset), and also the option to join activities and connect with other guests. The food was fantastic - so if you don't have a scooter, there are options! I loved the location, just not having a scooter made it a little difficult. I do think the sacrifice of convenient location is worth it. The remote-ness makes you feel like you are truly enjoying the landscape and culture of Bali. A nice break from the hectic Canggu city center. I had the best time! So grateful to have had an affordable rest/resort experience.”

  • La Miniera Pool Villas Pattaya - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

    - “La Miniera Pool Villas Pattaya has truly set the bar high for every place I’ll stay in the future. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for—so kind, friendly, and attentive to every detail. Their warmth and hospitality brought a special energy to the entire stay, making our mother-daughter trip absolutely unforgettable. Every interaction was filled with genuine smiles and joy. The attention to detail throughout the property, combined with the outstanding service, created the perfect environment to relax and make lasting memories. I sincerely pray I get the opportunity to return one day and create even more beautiful moments. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a luxurious and heartwarming getaway.”

  • Gelidonia Fenerium Holiday Home

    - “Had a superb Mediterranean countryside retreat at this cozy little house. The natural beauty of the surrounding area is amazing. For the beachgoers there are several options to choose from. There are both totally secluded little rocky coves and more developed areas with seaside restaurants and facilities. The garden is a stonking beauty. There is a nice stone fireplace to enjoy cooking over live fire. One have to understand the house uses solar power and hot water, so they are not unlimited, but there was always enough for 3 people.”

  • Quality Inn

    - “Clean and good Breakfast. Close to everything we wanted to see at Harper’s Ferry.”

Overall, we had a great stay, and thought the price was very fair (for NYC). The bed was very comfortable, the room was fairly spacious (again, relative to other NYC hotels), modern furnishings and everything was clean. We appreciated the steamer and umbrella in the room. I typically don't care about whether or not a hotel room has a nice TV - but on this occasion, I wanted to watch the Stanley Cup finals, so appreciated the flatscreen TV. Complimentary champagne upon check-in was a nice touch, and they stored our bags while we waited for the room to be ready and after we checked out. Breakfast voucher for the cafe across the street was a decent accommodation while they build a restaurant on site. Location is close to subway stations and easy to get around. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

The rooftop patio was closed, which was one of the selling points for me when booking -- but in the end it didn't matter, because it rained both days that we were there. Coffee machine in the room would be nice.

Breakfast was fine. It would have been nice if they had a quick grab item to take on the run instead of items you had to sit down to eat. Location was convenient

The tv remote did not work on the tv in the room. It would turn on only one channel and you could change the volume, that was it.
