It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. The room and bathroom were great. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with all sorts of goodies including hot food, bakery items, yogurt with all the fixings, fresh fruit and so much more. All the stuff we encountered was super nice. Everything one would expect from southern hospitality!

The hotel was not within walking distance to the French Quarter for us in the heat. We paid for the hotel parking but then we had to pay for parking at the French Quarter. The only good thing was that we were charged for parking at the hotel each day we stayed but we could go in and out as many times we needed to.

The staff was very professional and pleasant, despite being short some staff. It made us appreciate the great job they do when faced with problems. Everything was clean and maintained very well. The restaurant was the same way, a very cheerful attitude was had by all!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities used (room and tavern) were great! Food was really good! My sister and I had limited mobility but walked slow and used the elevator as necessary at the lodge and tavern.

Wish the property had closer parking to some of the rooms. We made it work, but it would have been more difficult in rainy weather.
