Excellent location, 2 min to Pentagon City Metro station and the fashion mall. Whole Foods and a nice coffee shop 10 min away. Right next to the park. The building is fine, the reception desk is polite, the appartment is furnished and equipped nicely. I also liked the balcony

The cleaning service is clearly not doing a good job at all. The floor was VERY DIRTY:filthy, sticky! The kitchen counter was dirty and the dishes were not washed in a washing machine (which is right there). Everything in the apartment has a patina of poor cleaning, the walls, the windows, everything... The smell of cheap cleaning products is horrible - they just sprayed the space and not cleaned it. It needs a thorough deep cleaning. So, to make it a truly excellent accommodation they should hire a real cleaning service. It is a shame because the furniture and the kitchen is reasonably new and throughtfullly selected for a short term accommodation.

We arrived 10 minutes early and were told that we could not check in and that we had to come back in in 10 minutes That was a little ridiculous in my opinion.

It needs updating. The kitchenette and bathroom could use an update. I didn’t love that my toddler could reach knobs to the stove. We didnt love that the elevator wasnt working. With a child with mobility issues it was an inconvenience but we knew that ahead of time. Our door was broken and there was a huge gap because it was unlevel. We had to forcefully slam it closed everytime. The room was very hot and humid. Not just regular florida humid. I think with the crack under the door and how large the room was, the air just couldnt circulate very well. We ended up having to purchase an oscillating fan so we could sleep.

The staff were so nice and pleasant! The location was also convenient, lots of options for food close by. A nice view of Times Square especially at night. Leading up to our visit I was nervously checking in with staff and making sure of last-minute tasks, and they always responded within 24 hours, if not sooner. The bunk bed pod was tiny but just what we needed, and it was much more affordable for multiple nights. My brother and I stayed over the weekend for a con at Javits Center (so if you saw 2 people in cosplay that was us lol). It was a nice walk over to Javits and the staff were so nice and pleasant, from checking us in to checking us out. Honestly the staff were the highlight of our time in the hotel, so thank you all! :)

Cleanliness was fair for the most part, save for one or two small spots of mold in the shower area. The railing for the top bunk and the ladder to get up there were both a little rickety and unstable, but once you put weight on it you should be okay. The first few times my brother had to hold the ladder steady while I climbed up to the top bunk but after that I got used to how it worked. I can understand why they're both a bit unstable, they're removable for when housekeeping comes in.
