  Location of this property to center of Sarasota and Main Street restaurants, outdoor cafe’s & shops etc is excellent. Just an easy walk to anything you need.

  Check in could have been better. Check-in was 4pm. I arrived at 5:30pm, having not yet received apartment access information to find both the bldg. and apartment secured by coded security box. No way to get in. No phone number to call thru booking.com confirmation info. sent me. Bldg. tenant helped me get inside. Finally able to reach host 30 minutes later to get code to access the apartment. Confirm you have that key info prior to arrival. The digital communication process could be improved to make it easier for the renter. Also, while the host Robert was cooperative, it took two days to get the internet connection working.

  It’s close to the capitol and Austin downtown.

  Apart from the location this is the worst place to stay in downtown Austin. - We had reserved a room, and when we got there we were told that there was no more space in their parking lot. They also want to charge us for $45 per night. They told us that they will help us where to park, and we asked for more details we were told to just look around (Very helpful!) - The room was very smelly when we entered. Something between mold and cigarettes. - The towels were very smelly. I highly doubt somebody washed them. EVER. - The bathroom had mold everywhere. - The a/c was not working - The icing on the cake was that we also had unwanted guests (aka roaches). We immediately left when we saw that and they were very helpful to give us a refund. Honestly it felt like this normal to them, didn’t really surprise them. Honestly, feeling lucky we didn’t get the bed bug room. STAY AWAY!
