The breakfast was beyond disappointing & the waiters/waitresses failed to smile but added a 20% tip or service charge which every American is expected to pay but coming from the UK and as I do not pay taxes in the USA I find it insulting to be forced to pay a tip for substandard food and service at the restaurant in house. In particular the steak and egg was disgusting and frankly we should have a refund for inedible breakfast charged at astronomical prices. What a huge disappointment.

The meals at the restaurant were below standard, waiting staff failed to smile & be polite and unaware of essential customer service skills and some waiters had the audacity to engage in an altercation with customers paying their wages & demanding 20% tip! Sheer ingratitude & self entitlement. The other issue was the deluxe king size room was small but notice to customers this hotels allows dogs so there might dog hairs lying around and on one occasion the lift was full of dog faeces which is absolutely disgusting. The staff immediately got this cleared out but this does not sit well with me, more so considering the expensive charges to stay at the hotel.Furthermore there appeared to be short staffed with the room being cleaned after 15.00 hours. At times no towels were left in the room, the door could not lock & in the night continuous noise sounding like some workmen undertaking work.

I love the hospice background the place. Although located by the freeways, our room was very quiet. Comfortable accommodations. We got good rest during our stay. Hot tub and breakfast was a great bonus!

I did not like that the showers had barely any water pressure, the sink had more water pressure than that. I could barely finish taking a shower because there was hardly any pressure to rinse the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair and I had to get somewhere so I was really upset that I could barely finish my shower. My caretaker's room next door was infested with ants, because of the design of the shower in her room, the floor got flooded she almost slipped and fell in the bathroom and had to mop the floor up with towels in order to finish getting dressed in the morning. She had no alarm clock in her room, which was bad because she was responsible for helping me make sure that I was up and what if it was a case where she didn't have her phone charger and her phone went dead and didn't have an alarm. The construction workers staying there were stomping around on her ceiling and woke her up at 4:30 in the morning and also someone attempted to open her door while she was sleeping and so she was so scared she couldn't go back to sleep. And the lady that checked us in was nice but very curt and also she saw that I was disabled with a walker, when I called the front desk for help for anything she wouldn't answer the desk phone. Once I went down because she wouldn't answer, I saw her walking around on her cell phone which is why she was not answering the phone when I was calling for services. Every time I needed something I would have to walk to the desk with my walker and caretaker, so I wasn't happy about that. Also, there were no vegan options for breakfast so we basically had dry toast for breakfast so it would be nice if you provide vegan options for people because there was nothing else available for us to eat and we did not have time to go and stop to pick anything up. Lastly, it'd be nice if you provided recycle trash cans.
