IT could use a really good cleaning. and better instructions when checking in like where the ice machine was at. Location was good right across the street from the beach, easy quick access there, places to eat were within a mile so that was good.

Could have been cleaner other than that it was fine.

It was a lovely historic property. With an amazing location. Loved the wine at happy hour and the continental breakfast. The staff was wonderful.

The property was awesome! The bar by the pool and the spa and the short walk to the beach were all great.

Location was fantastic.

The staff is horrendous. They do not care one bit about their customers. When we arrived, I stood in the lobby for nearly 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged. I had to call from the lobby as I literally stood in the lobby to reach someone to come out of the back and help check me in. The girl that finally walked out looked like she had been in the back asleep. When we did get into our room, the TV and toilet did not work. It was growing late, and we were all exhausted, but I called the front desk to let them know that we had issues. The woman at the desk told me that the mantiance guy had gone home, but she would text him and he would come back maybe in a half an hour. Since there was no guarantee when that would be, I told he that we would deal with it again in the morning. The room itself wasn't terrible, but we were given only 2 towels for 4 people and the beds were definitely uncomfortable. In the morning, I went back to the office to discuss the not working TV and toilet, there was a different girl at the desk and she couldn't even take the time to look at me in the face. All she said was, "we tried to help last night and you declined so there is nothing I can do". This isn't a cheap place to stay, but to pay nearly $300 for a room with no TV and no working toilet seems excessive. She didn't care whatsoever. All she did was check my name off of a list of people that were checking out that day and then sat back down. The staff here needs to retraining on how to handle guests. This is terrible. I saw the same type of reviews on Google for this place. And most negative reviews seem to be able about the staff. We gave it a try. We will not return.
