  The unit was very clean, spacious, and bright. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a loft unit, which made it feel all the more open and spacious. They left me plenty of towels as a solo traveler. I loved that there was a dedicated desk for a work space and excellent WiFi, as I needed to work remotely on my last day.

  Only complaint was that I wished they had left coffee filters and higher quality coffee, but I easily picked both of those up at the store.

  We were in Maryland and still running on California time. We were always getting back to the room late. The staff was not very helpful or understanding about a late check-out. I was also disappointed at the condition of the flags in front of the hotel. The US flag was in fair condition, but it should be replaced. The Maryland flag and the third flag were totally tattered and faded, to the point of not being able to identify the third flag

  The location was great—secluded yet accessible. It would have been fine if you’re into adventure, but we couldn’t enjoy anything because the electricity was cut off and the hosts essentially left us stranded. Overall, a bad experience!

  We booked this place for two days, and on the second day, the electricity was cut off. As a result, we had no power—our food spoiled in the fridge, it was extremely hot during the day, and cold at night. After a long trip to Yosemite, we couldn’t even take a shower because there was no hot water. We reached out to the hosts three times, but they didn’t care at all. Do not book this place. They can shut off the electricity without any explanation and won’t even reply to your emails. Stay away!
