      Located very short walk to casual bar/restaurant and a very high end steak restaurant. Visited both locations.

      Major construction that booking.com neglected to disclose. Entire main entrance blocked off, front desk was a temporary trailer, could only use side entrance and pool was closed with temperature in the 90’s! The pool was a major reason I booked this hotel.

      The main building is old, poorly maintained. There are no parking facilities. The staff appears to be temporary workers with limited involvement. The breakfast and tea service is fairly ordinary to indifferent and unimpressive. The rates are exorbitant and are not justified by the facility

      Food was great tasting… but. Room was swanky. Bathroom was really well done. Clean room.

      I get that it’s San Francisco and you’re paying for the convenience of the stay but the prices were ridiculous. $10 for 12oz beer at the bar. Breakfast was astronomical. Oh.. and the mattress was way too soft. I have a terrible back and that was like sleeping on down pillows.
