We went in hurricane season (June) so expect lots of wind, rain and power cuts if not in a huge resort. Taxis are ridiculously expensive and it is a total tourist trap. Don’t eat street food. Parts of the beach are inaccessible unless you pay extortionate prices. Humidity is difficult to handle

The fact that you are staying in a national park is amazing.
The fact that you are staying in a national park is amazing. The roads and beaches were clean and pristine. We were shocked at the cost of everything from food to the taxi fares. We went at the end of the tourist season but can't imagine the crowds in high season. We had to pay $40 USD to go 7 kilometers and it took 30 minutes. We had a memorable dinner at Wild Tulum. Well worth the cost. The history, ruins, swimming with turtles, and swimming in a cenote made the trip to Tulum worth visiting once for sure!

Tulum is a beautiful place with beautiful people. We spent our entire Saturday arguing with the owner because she couldn’t believe we were suffering from heat exhaustion. She refused to accommodate us and is the rudest person I’ve ever experienced.

Tulum is literally amazing, I would recommend it to everyone...
Tulum is literally amazing, I would recommend it to everyone. Some of the best places to visit while there : Gran Cenote, Tulum Ruins, Paradise Beach, kan lum lagoon. If you can go a bit further : Visit Akumal Beach for Turtles, Visit Sian Kaan and also Bacalar ! I would also recommend Chichen Itza and Coba ruins, there are many fantastic Cenotes nearby these two places too. Make sure to also check : Kaab+lab (brunch) Bar : Batey Mojito & Guarapo Bar (great Mojitos)AAnonymousMalaysia

It's in great location close to the archeological zone and beaches, about 10-15 min. by walking and just around 3 km from center. Just across the road is a shuttle bus stop and you can also rent bikes. Staff were super friendly and helped us a lot. Especially Kevin, amazing guy, who made our stay even more special. I loved that. The room is lovely and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. A/C, & the water in the shower isn't salty like a lot of places in Tulum. The beach club is peaceful in the morning until it turns into the party in the afternoon, but there are separate sun beds for hotel guests when you want to get away from the main area. Overall I loved it.

Enough sunbeds existed in beautiful beach. It is a quiet location unless other hotel visitors makes noise. It is in a walking distance to Tulum ruins. It has enough parking lot to park your car. I strongly suggest you to rent a car if you are planning to visit cenotes, Chichen Itza and other ruins as well as restaurants in city centre. WiFi was fast enough even for video streaming during our stay in every spot of the hotel.

The apartments are brand new and wonderfully decorated. All is very clean and tidy and the staff was always responsive and ready to help you with tips and recommendations. I wouldn’t say it is cheap (as everything in Tulum- and that is the reason why tourism is decreasing) but it is definitely worth the price.
