So much to see and do, it’s best to have a plan to make the most of your time. There are lots of free attractions to take advantage of as well as some fabulous things to see that will cost an entrance fee. Mix it up and walk as much as you can… often you will end up walking further when using the underground!!

Last minute booking as had missed my last train home, normally I stay away from Kings Cross as an area as so many hotels are of very poor quality, however couldn't be bothered heading back into central London so took a chance on this. The price was so cheap it almost put me off! But what a pleasant surprise, my room was a good size, it was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the wifi was perfect. Absolutely nothing to dislike about this place and would happily stay again. For the price you will not find anything better in London.

The staff was very helpful, letting me stow my luggage before checking in and after checking out. The breakfast was adequate, but not like the full English breakfast I've had on other trips to England. (However, apparently, very few B & B's and hotels are serving the full breakfast anymore, at least as a part of your room charge.) The location is very convenient with the proximity to the Victoria Coach Station and train station, making it very easy to get around London. Also, the cost for 6 nights in London was exceptional.

The hotel is on a pleasant square with a garden in front and is only a short walk from Earl’s Court station. We had a room in the basement with a window looking up to the street which was an interesting change. The room was a reasonable size with a private bathroom. It was comfortable and the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. London is always going to be expensive so the hotel isn’t cheap but it is reasonably priced for the city and a good alternative to the more expensive hotels nearer the centre.

Perfect location for travelling all around london - Russel Sq. Station has Piccadilly line which connects to Heathrow. Otherwise there's King's Cross and St. Pancras train stations. Walking distance to Holborn, Oxford Street, British Museum. Big rooms with windows, better than the majority of London hotels. Some of the rooms are as big as 25 sq m. That is very rare for London at this price. The bathroom was fully renovated with a modern clean design. The bed was comfortable-ish, on the hard side.

Room was very cheap for central london on a champions league night. The building and room interiors were really nice, old school english vibe. The staff were extremely friendly. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was spacious. The room (top floor) was eerily quiet, considering it is 10m from Shepherds Bush underground. The hotel facilities are very bare bones, but we wanted a nice comfy, quiet couple of rooms for a work trip and thats exactly what we got.

The room was a nice size and the bed was comfy. You're close to Paddington Station which will take you essentially anywhere you need to go in London. We also took the train from Heathrow to Paddington Station and then walked to the hotel from there. Hyde Park is very close too. The location was extremely convenient for connecting with the Heathrow express, and a good price for London. The bed was comfortable, and the bedding was actually unusually soft for a hotel room. We found the sound of the tube (which seems to run under the hotel) rather soothing, like a periodic thunder storm.
