Los Arcos Hotel - TULUM, hotel in Tulum

Located in Tulum, 2.2 miles from Tulum Archeological Site, Los Arcos Hotel - TULUM has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

I don't know where to begin... I was so fortunate to have been able to call Los Arcos home for 11 days. And home it was. Everything about this hotel far exceeded my expectations. Location: It can't be beat. This hotel is situated two blocks north of the main road where all the action is, yet it's very quiet. Everything dowtown is walkable, but if you're like me and prefer to dine where the locals eat, there are plenty of options nearby. It is a 10 minute walk to the ADO terminal, and also very close to the Collectivo stop. Room: I was in room 14, at the end on the second floor. My room was remarkably clean, and huge! My room was freshened up daily, with garbages changed, bed made, and fresh towels provided. The room received a thoroughly deep clean twice during my stay, which was more than adequate. I found this room incredibly tranquil. The bed was so comfortable, and I can't remember the last time I've slept so well. The a/c worked flawlessly, cooling the room off within minutes after coming back after a day spent out in the sun. Facilities: It's obvious the staff take great pride in maintaining the property here. I enjoyed my evenings sitting on the loungers near the pool under the large palm trees. The pool was lovely. There is a fountain turned on during the day, so you can enjoy the sounds of water cascading down and birds chirping. I also really appreciated the communal fridge in the main lobby area, and even more, the hotel kitty Fanta kept me good and entertained. Services: The staff at this hotel are so very friendly and helpful. The ladies at the desk greeted me with a smile every time I came and went from the hotel. The daily breakfasts were also delicious, and the variety changed daily. The unlimited drip coffee was available at all hours which I appreciated greatly. I could say so much more, but I'm running out of space to leave more comments here.

Alea Tulum, hotel in Tulum

Located in Tulum, a few steps from Tankah Bay Beach, Alea Tulum has accommodations with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center.

Please read thoroughly before reserving this hotel. While the location boasts a beautiful seaside area, our experience at this hotel establishment was nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, the staff seemed friendly, and the offer of boats and paddle usage in the sea was enticing. However, our adventure quickly turned disastrous. During our boat excursion, we were met with unexpected weather conditions, and a massive wave capsized our boat, leaving us stranded in the tumultuous sea. Despite wearing life jackets, we were left to fend for ourselves for over an hour, battling treacherous waves with no assistance in sight. When we finally reached the shore, the manager's primary concern was the missing paddle, rather than our well-being. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to charge $83 for a replacement paddle, which I later found online for $30 on Amazon. Furthermore, the on-site restaurant offered overpriced, low-quality food, forcing us to venture into the city for every meal. The road leading to the hotel was unpaved, adding to the overall discomfort of our stay. In conclusion, this establishment prioritizes material possessions over guest safety and satisfaction. Save yourself the trouble and spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. Our traumatic experience serves as a warning to anyone considering a stay at this negligent and disappointing hotel.

The drinks at the little rooftop bar were also very delicious & the fresh smoothie in the morning was just what I needed to start my day.

Tulum is a nice place to visit. But very expensive. Taxi’s are costly. Food and drinks expensive on beach side but a little cheaper in town. Because it is a jungle there are a lot of mosquitos. Depending on what type of vacation you want Tulum has something for everyone. Just bring lots of money.

A trip to Tulum just got much easier with direct flights from the US to the new Tulum International Airport. Then, the best and most affordable way into town is the ADO bus. Get the app and buy a ticket in advance and you'll be sure to have a seat. From the pueblo of Tulum, you'll need to take a taxi to the hotel (about 4.5 miles). The hotel has rental bikes you can take into town or to the Tulum ruins. Otherwise you can just chill at the hotel. There are also a slew of tours you can go on and the hotel staff can help you pick the ones that you are most interested in. Complimentary breakfast each day and decent food for lunch and dinner. Full service bar as well. We would definitely return to Diamante K for another relaxing stay in the future.

Tulum is not at all bad, they are lots of cenotes to visit & swim in nearby, the beaches are cool the (free ones), but better on the paid side. The food downtown Tulum ,especially the taco stalls and seafood restaurants are excellent.Make sure you have cash on hand. Most spot dont take credit cards. The beach zone is not really pedestrian Friendly, but still lots of restaurants, shops & beach clubs,. Also do your research & the taxis are here to get your $$$$ kinda over price ,also alway haggle the price down.Over all it was a great escape.

Beaches are spectacular, we rented e bikes which were a godsend as we were staying outside the beach area. The military presence was a bit intimidating and Tulum town is nothing special. I probably wouldn't go back and we were sorry that we didn't spend half our time in Playa del Carmen just for a change of scenery. We liked the beach bar Planca.

The beach is beautiful, Santa Fe is free of beach bars so you only pay the £2 or so to get onto the beach not the beach cafe lot. Not allowed plastic bottles on the beach so will be charged £5 for a can of water once there if you don’t take a reusable bottle! . Cenotes are beautifull and all different so worth visiting a few. The ruins are great, arrive early though it gets hot and super busy. The ADO coaches are great value to get from the airport and around generally (to Valladolid, Bacalar). You can use busbud app to arrange before or get off the plane and head for the ADO shopfront in the airport. Pay for everything in cash or you’ll get scammed - everyone I spoke to had this happen at least once. They say your card hasn’t gone through and keep charging you; this is beach bars, cafes, shops and taxis. Rent a bike or get a bus as taxis aren’t regulated and ridiculously expensive! It felt very safe and is a lovely place, shame tourists are so openly scammed cause it does make you wary of returning! Local people are so lovely and friendly, not everyone speaks English but I think that’s great! Overall amazing place highly recommend :)

Loved how small and peaceful NEST was. We stayed in one of the tower rooms - beautiful, romantic, chic, quiet, nice hot water in shower, comfortable bed and pillows, two balconies, strong AC available at any time. What more could you ask for? It’s on the better end of Tulum Beach in my opinion, calmer than the main party zone with easy access to anything you could want - shops, restaurants, bars. Fantastic, welcoming staff. We were waited on hand and foot. Excellent breakfast - try the ranchero egg breakfast and the fresh fruit plate.

Excellent remodeled hotel in the heart of Tulum. Nicely styled rooms and very comfortable beds. Superb for the price point. The common area kitchen was great for a quick meal or just gathering to socialize. I was able to meet other travelers as well as the owner in this space. Huge plus. Only a 5 minute walk from the main ADO bus station in Tulum. Very safe property. A big plus was the keyless entry into the rooms! Many hotels in Mexico give you a key with chain larger than your phone.. it is awful to deal with.

Authentic hotel in a fabulous location, with helpful reception staff who directed me to a nearby bike rental for cycling to beach and Tulum ruins. Bike could be kept securely overnight in courtyard so no worries there. The room was very clean and nicely prepared and actually had a bedside lamp (not always a given in Mexico). Plenty of restaurants around and a short walk from ADO bus station but off the main highway so quiet and peaceful. Could also leave my bag from checkout until my evening departure which was handy.

The hotel's location was great, as it was right in the middle of Tulum's Hotel Zone, providing lots of dining, drinking, and entertainment opportunities. We were pleasantly surprised by the room size, which was larger than what we had anticipated from the pictures. Moreover, the entire staff was extremely friendly and responsive, always willing to assist us with any requests. Considering that comparable options in the same area were twice as expensive, we felt that this hotel was an excellent value for money.

The hotel is unique and very authentic, make you feel the real Tulum, Mexico vibe. Its make you feel connected with the nature. From our rooms every morning we could see the wild life and very interesting species. The bottle of water in the room was refilled upon request. Staying in the hotel, allows us having free access to Orchid Beach House. Both Jungle and Beach Restaurants were good, we had couple of meals and cocktails. Very quite and romantic. This hotel is beautiful!! The rooms are right at the beach, the whole hotel has a very rustic vibe which goes well with Tulum. This hotel is not in the middle of the city like others have already mentioned. To go to the city of Tulum we paid closed to $55 dolars each way which is kind of expensive. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The food was one of the best we had during our entire trip. Great variety, flavorful fresh stuff.

I came all the way from Berlin, Germany to Tulum. La Zebra was a great choice but what really made it stand out was the health and wellness Pavillon overlooking the ocean. I had two exceptionally great classes (Yoga and HIIT) that really made all the difference. There are quite a few nice boutique hotels along the cost but none of them offers a workout experience with ocean view. I would recommend it any time!

Very beautiful hotel - a lot of plants and vines form the courtyard, creating an oasis-like feeling. Modern rooms, very good bathroom facilities, especially for Mexico. Tasty breakfast with plenty of fruit. Location is good if you have a car - much better to stay in Tulum proper rather than the beachfront hotel area which has a horrible road leading up to it. Walking distance to downtown bars.

Nice beach front hotel. The breakfast is served at the beach and was very good. Yoga classes 6 of 7 mornings with view over swimming pool, the beach and the ocean. Bungalows situated in a dense vegetation with soft white sand leading from the hotel lobby to the different bungalows. Coffee and tea at the room. Walking distance on beach or on the road (about 1,7 km) to the Mayan Ruins of Tulum.

This hotel is a good choice to sleep on the beach and having air conditioning without spending a fortune. Rooms in the main building are simple but nice with hot water, which is not always the case in tulum. If you are not looking for luxury but just a nice room close to beach a recommend it. The hotel itself is amazing and the restaurant on the beach as well

I really hate writing reviews but..... this is worth it. I travel all over the world in search for beautiful boutique hotels! I highly recommend staying here, and do your self a favor and just stay here. Absolutely the best part of Tulum, and when you book somewhere else you will remember I told you so! 🎤drop

The hotel was very nice, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing that made our evening a little uncomfortable were the mosquitoes, but that's something to be reckoned with in Mexico. The price was higher, but everything is expensive in Tulum and our stay was very nice.

Location. It is very rare to find an affordable place at the Tulum Hotel zone nowadays. Staff was very friendly; breakfast, simple but good (fruit, toast with butter and jam, juice, and coffee). There's a parking for like 5 cars, you get shower towels, beach towels, toiletries and water bottles.

Victor and Gabriel were amazing and made the stay very enjoyable! The location of the hotel is perfect, noise wasn’t an issue for us but we stayed mon-wed. Great beach access and very laid back hotel, would definitely return if we visit tulum again ! And the owners have 2 lovely dogs.

It’s a clean and cute stay, very spacious, pool is nice. We stayed in the pent house 3, which had a kitchen and a “hot” tub. Okay for 2 nights. Beach & ruins are far, but hotel is in Tulum city.

A price that can't be beat for the hotel zone of Tulum. Staff was super friendly and knew the clubs and day activities.
