Stunning room with an amazing view. Delicious breakfast and excellent value. Overall our favourite place we stayed on our travels and I hope to be back again!!

Having stayed in many different locations, I can say, without a doubt, that this has been our most exceptional experience. Beyond the fascinating views, perfect location, beautiful rooms, amazing terraces, the truly outstanding highlight of this place are the people. They have made our family of 5 (4 adults, 1 child and one dog) feel like royalty, with care, kindness and impeccable communication: from securing safe parking on-site for our huge car on the Amalfi coast, assisting us with heavy luggage, booking for us an unforgettable private boat trip to Capri (with our dog!) complete with transfer, coming to pick us up at a time of our choice from Positano, advising us on our Amalfi itinerary, giving us restaurant recommendations and even checking parking garages availability for us - they just went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and as comfortable as possible. We were personally served each morning with the richest, most delicious breakfast we've had in all of Italy, with local fresh produce, amazing coffee, and huge variety of dishes. We had dinner one evening on the beautiful terrace overlooking the coast, an experience I would definitely recommend. They even researched ways to have our luggage delivered in another Amalfi town via boat, so we can travel without the worry of a car full of luggage. And to top it off, on the day of departure, they pulled their own car in the street to allow us to exit the parking safely on the crazy Amalfi roads. This is THE PLACE to stay on the coast and I would choose it for my family again and again! Thank you for an unforgettable stay, you've set a very high standard of excellence of what hospitality should feel like.

everything, the staff, the food, the beauty of the property, comfort of the room and external facitilies...everything is fantastic

- very friendly welcome - the rooms were lovely furnished and had super nice details around (like flowers..) - incredible view over the wine yards from the borgo - quality of breakfast outstanding (little basket with local food) - it was so beautiful to walk around this little village - three amazing restaurants around for good food and drinks (recommended by the borgo) - little shop for local food had delicious choice Overall just a really lovely stay, great to relax but also really convenient to travel with friends or family as everyone can book their own apartment :)

The room had a beautiful lake view and terrace. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Carolena was great and made sure that everything was perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything One of the best places I’ve stayed in The world. Very unique experience. We actually stayed in the castle, it was fantastic. The owners are extremely sweet and helpful. It was a night to remember. The dinner was fantastic. The tour around the castle. The rooms were perfect, unforgettable! Very very highly recommended

Beautiful location, with excellent amenities. Elena was very helpful in sorting out travel plans for us. The boat tour around the island was fabulous and the pizza restaurant at night was delicious and reasonable price.

This was our first time at Monteverdi, and we’re already planning to return later this year. What was meant to be a three-night stay quickly turned into four, because everything was so wonderful — we simply didn’t want to leave. Here are a few of our favorite things about Monteverdi: First, the location and views. Each morning, we went on long hikes through the rolling Tuscan hills, soaking in the breathtaking scenery of this UNESCO-protected landscape. Every evening, we watched the sunset in peaceful awe. Time slows down here — and you truly learn to savor each moment. Second, the food. Every single meal was exceptional. The team sources fresh, local ingredients and crafts them into dishes that are both comforting and inspired. We looked forward to breakfast every morning, trying something new each time. And dinner? Even better. Riccardo and his team curated a seasonal menu that we absolutely loved — and since we dined there nearly every night, they even created a few special off-menu dishes just for us, which was such a memorable touch. Third, the experiences. From wine tasting at Le Ripi to day trips through charming nearby towns, there’s so much to explore. We also made time to relax at the property — the pool, sauna, and spa treatments were some of the best we’ve ever experienced. And above all, the people. Every member of the Monteverdi team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to making us feel at home. Their hospitality created a space where we could truly unwind and be present. Monteverdi is a place that stays with you — and we’re already counting down the days until we return.
